I've tried unistalling-reinstalling every driver I can find and it doesn't solve the issue.
It also still detects it as an unknown USB device.
When I plug the adapter into the computer and then an HDMI to VGA adapter into the USB-C to HDMI adapter the computer detects a monitor even without having one plugged into the VGA to HDMI adapter, and then when I plug a monitor in it works fine (albeit with a little bit of a fuzzy picture). When I plug the adapter into the computer and my monitor via HDMI into the adapter the computer doesn't detect the monitor, but does detect the adapter as an unknown USB device. I have been trying to use it recently and it won't work. I bought the Cable Creations USB-C to HDMI adapter from Amazon and it seemed to work fine for a while (I think).
